This track was originally released on vinyl by Sunburn Recordings in 2002. Co-produced by Jaeson Lee, it was recorded in San Anselmo in Marin County California under a dubious haze of fog. Some say San Anselmo is the rainiest place in California. I attest to that.
Merging from mist and clouds, the track is a slimy cruise through tribal beats and Middle Eastern fanfare.
During the 1990’s Jaeson and Pedro used to bring me up to Ottowa for Halloween. I have fond memories playing in tents below ski slopes and in basements below snowy streets with a tribe of fire starters and flamethrowers dancing to similar beats.
