You are listening to one of the many tracks that I made for an installation at the Airtight Garage in the Sony Metreon in San Francisco and Tokyo. This project was more complex than anything I had done before. I was asked to create 3 separate one hour soundtracks of original music that would play simultaneously in three different areas. The trick was to use my DJ and production skills to make sure that each recording was perfectly mixed with the others so that as people moved between the different zones, the music would morph between the different soundtracks. Kinda like DJing simultaneously on three turntables on three adjacent sound systems.
The music was never released on any physical format and could only be heard at the venue. Here, for the first time, are some of the tracks.
This one is called Ganguly.
